REVEALING HOW WE DELIVER
WT Consulting primarily works in the salary range £60K to £200K+. Positions where functional seniority and intellectual stimulation are often the most important reference point. Here are some typical projects:
-
| Project: |
European Managing Director - based in Denmark |
| Client Sector |
Engineering |
| Salary: |
Equivalent circa £125K+ |
| Overview: |
This was a position based in rural west Denmark for a UK plc. To quote the client" a bitch of a job in a bitch of a place, I am not sure that you (WTC) would want to handle it". A search and an advertising campaign was carried out in Denmark, Northern Germany and, Southern Sweden. WTC achieved rapid success through relocating a Dane from Germany. |
-
| Project: |
Managing Director - based near Heathrow, UK |
| Client Sector: |
Business Services Subsidiary |
| Salary: |
Equivalent circa £100K+ |
| Overview: |
WTC was called in to rescue an assignment that had drifted. Against a brief that was ideally "a 35-38 years old, Sales Director looking for their first General Manager role", within three weeks WTC provided a successful "wild card" solution with only one candidate - a 46 years old ex- finance guy, who had become a Managing Director 6 years earlier. The quality and capability of the individual was such that the organisation structure was changed, making his business, one of the main business units rather than a sub business unit. |
-
| Project: |
Build a new plc Group Finance team - based in Central London |
| Client Sector: |
Business services |
| Salary: |
Equivalent circa £30k - £80K |
| Overview: |
In early October WTC was asked to take on the recruitment of a five-person team - ranging from Group Chief Accountant to Assistant Head Office Accountant - relating to an office relocation. With a 31 December year-end approaching, the old team committed to leaving on the following 31 March, and a relocation scheduled for early March, it was critical that we maximised the length of handover for as many of the team as possible - a tough order. In fact the whole team was in place as of 2 January, with the group Chief Accountant having joined in mid November. |
